We aim to get working prototypes into the hands of the people who will use the product every day. This allows us to quickly identify inefficiencies and gaps through feedback, that will trigger rapid improvements. Our use of low code/no code solutions and lightweight coding reduces the cost and time normally associated with software development. Small incremental improvements ultimately lead to digital transformation, with less risk and lower cost.

Innovation Kick-Start Workshop.

Our two-day innovation workshop is based on the UiQ Innovation Process (IP). The workshop will be led by two innovation specialists from UiQ and will include your senior safety leaders.
The UiQ IP is a comprehensive methodology designed to guide clients through the development and implementation of digital solutions. It involves several key components outlined previously and is designed to encourage collaboration and inclusivity throughout. We have proven that this process can produce impactful operational tools in a very short period, directly aimed to solve everyday inefficiencies and problems. Our iterative process also reduces the risk of wasted time and cost often associated with larger software development projects. Also, by including grass-roots test teams, line managers and a dynamic feedback loop, UiQ reduce the risk of potentially transformational projects failing due to a lack of buy-in or usability.
The workshop agenda will be designed to provide a comprehensive overview of the UiQ IP, with a focus on generating and refining ideas related to health and safety innovation within your company. This session will be aimed specifically at increasing engagement in safety practices amongst staff and will highlight how technology can be utilised to influence safety habits and cultures amongst teams and individuals.

DAY 2 – Your Company / Client Premises (Site Visits)

Ideally it would be useful to see both an example of each of your different types of premises.

Summary
A short debrief of the discussions across both days to confirm the information gathered, our understandings of the priorities, main areas of focus and the general technologies to be utilised.
Action List
A list of actions for both parties to follow on from the workshop. This list should contain short, concise actions, leading to taking the project to the next stage.

UiQ Workshop Outputs.

Following a successful ideation stage, we understand that there may be requirements to secure funding before we move to the next stage of our collaboration. If you require supporting evidence to secure funding, we would recommend developing a collaborative report, based on the discussions and findings from the workshops. We would take responsibility to draft this document with minimal effort required from you, however we would consider your input invaluable.
As our standard follow-on from the Ideation stage of our Value-Driven Framework, we would hope to begin the wireframe designs for the solutions identified in our discussions. Wireframes provide a visual workflow for digital solutions and defines the specification in a clear and transparent format. A wireframe will provide you with a level of certainty, that all aspects and functions of any solution have been considered. We also use this stage to identify opportunities to classify, codify and structure data in an appropriate format that will enable future utilisation in Machine Learning or be leveraged by Artificial Intelligence.
Our general approach to development, is to take an organisation-wide approach to structuring data at the backend of any solution. This allows us to develop single solutions or a collection of joined-up solutions, that can be deployed effectively at a local level, but scaled in the future to meet wider organisational demand.
There is no obligation to move onto the wireframe stage following our discussions, however you may decide that there are several solutions identified that may warrant this further development. In this instance we will apply a discount to multiple wireframes and projects. Prices provided below should therefore only be considered a guide.
